What distance is it to the winter green when my ball is lying on the fairway of hole 2 right in front of the water?

There’s a knoll in between my ball and the hole so I can’t use my range finder. The winter view is erring me often.

But you can solve this problem easily with MyRange Pro:

I’ve entered all winter greens of the 18 hole and of the 9 hole course. For making it not too complicated I’ve chosen the middle of each of the greens.

All of the users of MyRange Pro can have the distance to each of the winter greens with their iPhone without any problems.

And the whole service of MyRange Pro is available for only 89 ct! That’s much cheaper than the cost of one golf ball! ;-)

Of course you can add other winter greens of your favorite golf course with the help of MyRange Pro effortless. The data you’ve added are available for download for all other users, soon, without any costs. What a great service for any golf player!

We’ve got it, this nasty bug!

After lots of changes inside the app and preparations to iOS 7 a new update is available now for both MyRange and MyRange Pro.

Please don’t hesitate in future to tell us about issues you’ve noticed that we can fix them as soon as possible. Although we test the app before release there are always cases we can’t imagine while testing.

We are very thankful for your patience and relief!

Have fun with your golf training, even if weather conditions aren’t always the best at the moment.

Unfortunately we got attacked by a very bad bug in both apps. Thanks to Heino Verhek from Switzerland for finding and telling!

We’ve noticed a crash while adding targets to a new range. :(

We are working on solving these issues, but even when it’ll be fixed, both of them apps have to be reviewed by apple and that lasts a while. We  reckon with about 2 weeks.

We beg for your understanding and thank you for your patience!

Yay, it’s done! Finally Apple finished its review and from now on MyRange and MyRange pro is available for iPad and iPad Mini in the App Store! Go and grab yours!

Use winter time for a good training with MyRange/MyRange Pro for being well prepared in the next season! You even can use MyRange Pro for your winter round with the changed greens! Make a gauge of the winter course and send us the map, for making it available to the whole community!

It has been very quiet here for a long time. It’s because we were converting MyRange and MyRange Pro for iPad and iPad mini! At this time, both Apps are in “review” status at Apple. Yay! So you can be happy because soon you can use your iPad for your golf training, too!

Furthermore we have some ideas, we will realize in the next time. You may be excited!

Have fun with your golf training!

I’ve upgraded the Driving Range of the Golf Course Hummelbachaue by some more objects. You can download the updated Driving Range with MyRange Pro right now.

1. They added another flag between flag 7 and 8. I called it ‘flag 7-8′ which allows me to let all other flag numbers as they were.

2. Some important positions around the Driving Range were missing as well. I measured all positions of the ball machines with their coordinates. Now you can take a reading from the distance of one site to another pretty well.

3. I also added the positions of the flash protect cabins with their coordinates, not for finding the cabin in an emergency case but with this reason:

A few days ago I was standing on the Atelier 6, some young men nearby. One of them told the others (he really did!!) he would have hit carry the cabin a few times, he could have heard the ‘clonk’ sounding.

Now I have the coordinates I know the distance to this cabin was 344 yards…. :D

I thought I know all of our here practising Pros with Marcel Siem and Martin Kaymer. But I’ve never seen THESE guys before, nor on the Golf Course nor in TV ;-)

I think I should follow the European PGA Tour more often, maybe I’ll recognize their faces? :-)

Here are 2 screenshots of the iPad version (which will be available in the App-Store in summer):
