What distance is it to the winter green when my ball is lying on the fairway of hole 2 right in front of the water?

There’s a knoll in between my ball and the hole so I can’t use my range finder. The winter view is erring me often.

But you can solve this problem easily with MyRange Pro:

I’ve entered all winter greens of the 18 hole and of the 9 hole course. For making it not too complicated I’ve chosen the middle of each of the greens.

All of the users of MyRange Pro can have the distance to each of the winter greens with their iPhone without any problems.

And the whole service of MyRange Pro is available for only 89 ct! That’s much cheaper than the cost of one golf ball! ;-)

Of course you can add other winter greens of your favorite golf course with the help of MyRange Pro effortless. The data you’ve added are available for download for all other users, soon, without any costs. What a great service for any golf player!

I’ve upgraded the Driving Range of the Golf Course Hummelbachaue by some more objects. You can download the updated Driving Range with MyRange Pro right now.

1. They added another flag between flag 7 and 8. I called it ‘flag 7-8′ which allows me to let all other flag numbers as they were.

2. Some important positions around the Driving Range were missing as well. I measured all positions of the ball machines with their coordinates. Now you can take a reading from the distance of one site to another pretty well.

3. I also added the positions of the flash protect cabins with their coordinates, not for finding the cabin in an emergency case but with this reason:

A few days ago I was standing on the Atelier 6, some young men nearby. One of them told the others (he really did!!) he would have hit carry the cabin a few times, he could have heard the ‘clonk’ sounding.

Now I have the coordinates I know the distance to this cabin was 344 yards…. :D

I thought I know all of our here practising Pros with Marcel Siem and Martin Kaymer. But I’ve never seen THESE guys before, nor on the Golf Course nor in TV ;-)

I think I should follow the European PGA Tour more often, maybe I’ll recognize their faces? :-)

Here are 2 screenshots of the iPad version (which will be available in the App-Store in summer):

What a surprise!

Only a few days ago I met Heiko on Facebook.

And today I received an email attached the data of a new Driving Range of the Golf Club Reutlingen Sonnenbühl.

A wonderful Golf Course with beautiful surrounding area.

He’s on my “To play”-list now! ;-)

Thank you!

The Drinving Range is available for downloading now for all users of MyRangePro! Enjoy!

Since a few weeks it’s pretty silent here. That has its reason: I’m working hard on a version for iPad! :-)

And today I’m able to present you some screenshots for the look-and-feel.

The special challange is that the handling of MyRange Pro shall be similar to the iPhone version, because it has proved one’s worth.

Its looking pretty good, doesn’t it? ;-)

There’s still a lot to do, but I’m confident, that I can deliver the new version  for the apple review at the end of May. Then the iPad version will be available in the App Store in June 2013, let’s hope the best! :-)

Good things come to those who wait!

Since 2/2/2013 MyRange Pro is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod in the App Store as well as an update of MyRange.

New are lots of design improvements and a detailed manual. Every user can now apply his own Map with his device. With a simple “click” you are able to upload these maps to our server for making them available for all other users.

It doesn’t matter if it is a Driving Rangem an overview of the flash protect cabins or even the winter greens can be grasped easily with your device.

It can be essential for all golfers knowing the exact distance to the next winter green. The regular summer greens are well measured most of the time. But how about the winter green? 80, 90 or 100 meters?

And where is the next flash protect cabin if a thunderstorm is coming up and the course is unknown?

It is a very good service every golf club can offer its members. It is even a good service, every golf player can offer to all others! And this only with a tiny little capital spending of 0,99$ ;-)
